Not allowed out yet but mam and dad took me for a ride along the top of the cliffs from Seaburn heading to Whitburn. Had to go in the basket of dad's scooter because my vaccinations don't cover me yet from infections and nasty doggy diseases. Cute or what?

Darcy Dodds
Following the sad demise of Tilly meet Darcy who has entered our lives with a bang! Darcy came to us on the 9th May at nearly 8 weeks old. She was born on St Patrick's Day hence the Irish name which means dark haired. Tilly is still a huge miss but Darcy is helping to ease our sorrow. To be frank, we are sometimes so busy running round after her, before we know it another day is nearly over!
Darcy has settled in really well after a first night of crying for her sibling. She already knows her toys and being a typical terrier goes in for the kill by pouncing on her ball or teddy, giving it a good shake to kill it and then settling down to have a bit chew. Like Tilly she is starting to recognise the children and shows pleasure when they come in. She now recognises her crate and quite happily puts herself to bed there when she is tired. She was extremely good at the vets and didn't even flinch when she had her first vaccination. Hope that doesn't change.
Darcy has followed in Tilly's footsteps by making herself at home next door with Mr and Mrs D (and on Mr D) and has already christened their floor thereby making her mark on their home.
As she gets older and starts to show her own personality I'm sure she will fit right in with our family. I am looking forward to the time when she can come on my bus travels and provide more little stories. She already has a caravan holiday to look forward to in September at Land's End so we are taking her out in the car for short journeys at first just to get her used to travelling, going a bit further afield at the weekend.
Watch this space....................
